Introducing a new chapter to The Journal that is very close to our hearts. A series of imagery & interviews with the people most special to us and those that have influenced our journey with Mountain & Moon in the greatest ways possible. Our family & loved ones provide countless support, advice and inspiration, and we would not be who we are today without them.
Essentially, this is an ode to those who we adore, and we hope you love to delve deeper with us into our lives and the stories of those who have helped shaped MM alongside us from the beginning.
Happy Birthday to Kathryn! Mama to Audrey, Nick + Jon and loving wife to Chris. A stylish Greek woman who everybody knows as warm, welcoming, nurturing, constantly happy and positive. Kathryn has so many amazing qualities that make her not only a phenomenal mother but also just an absolute pleasure to have alongside us for the life ride. Her extensive friend & family circle would also agree she's pretty damn hilarious! She's a bubbling ball of energy at all times, and when you're welcomed into her chic abode expect to be offered a plate of olives, feta, crackers and tea, she is a good greek mama after all! If you happen to pop by after 5 you might find yourself partaking in an aperol spritz on the deck as you watch the sunset... A true lover of life, we adore you Kathy!

Ashton photographed and Audrey interviewed her mama in their tropical jungle garden during an afternoon in November. Kathy told stories of growing up in a Greek family where gold jewellery was prominent and treasured. Whilst she is the first to admit she is much more of a minimalist than us when it comes to layering her jewels, she has a great appreciation for precious jewellery that has a story behind it and pieces that are made with good conscience and intention.
